Cherry: medium hard and medium heavy wood. The heartwood covers practically the entire cross-section of the trunk, clear and uniform red-brown and gray-green stripes, the sapwood is imperceptible. The grain pattern is clearly and widely defined. Wood has good mechanical properties, however, it is medium resistant to moisture and biological corrosion if unprotected and outside. Traditionally used indoors for furniture of a better standard. The warm reddish color goes well with Larch and not bad with coniferous wood, the structure matches the rest of the fruit trees, and also with plum in color.
